Scholarship Type: White Cloud High School

Student Teaching Scholarship Fund

To be awarded to students who graduate from White Cloud High School

  • Preference to students pursuing a career in education
  • Preference to students attending a college or university in Michigan
  • Preference to students who attain a 3.0 GPA in college
  • Scholarship payment to be made in the semester that the student does their student teaching

DeShano Family Scholarship

To be awarded to students from White Cloud High School

  • Preference to students with financial need
  • Preference to students that are pursuing a career in environmental sciences or conservation
  • Secondary preference to students that are pursuing a career in law enforcement

Lou and Paula Meeuwenberg

To be awarded to students of Fremont High and White Cloud high schools

  • Preference to students with a GPA of 3.0 or above

Richard and Phyllis Crandell Memorial Scholarship

To be awarded to a graduating senior from Fremont High School and White Cloud High School

  • Preference to students in the middle one third of graduating class
  • Students can be pursuing trade school, an associate degree, or a four year college degree

Hendrick Jones Scholarship

To be awarded to a graduating senior from White Cloud High School

  • Must have been a member of the White Cloud community
  • Completed eight semesters of high school at White Cloud
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale
  • Be involved in school and community activities

White Cloud Rotary Club Scholarship

To be awarded to graduating high school seniors from White Cloud High School

  • Maintained a good school attendance record
  • Has a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Candidates should exemplify community service

Eric W. Rudert Scholarship

To be awarded to a graduate of White Cloud High School

  • Has GPA of 3.0 to 3.7 on 4.0 scale
  • Involved in school, community, or volunteer activities
  • Preference to students attending Michigan State University

Jack D. Jones Scholarship

To be awarded to a graduating senior from White Cloud High School

  • Must have been a member of White Cloud community
  • Completed eight semesters of high school at White Cloud
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale
  • Be involved in school and community activities

Charles William Davidson Memorial Scholarship

To be awarded to a graduating senior from Newaygo and White Cloud high schools

  • Aiming for the “well-rounded” student
  • Demonstrated academic achievement by having a GPA in the range of 2.0-3.0
  • Participation in school related sports activities, such as track, softball, etc.

Kristy Auw Couch Memorial Scholarship

To be awarded to a White Cloud High School student whose life interests and activities parallel Kristy’s

  • Music
  • Scouting
  • Softball
  • National Honor Society
  • Drama Club
  • Kristy attended FSU

Glen and Arah Beach Scholarship

To be awarded to all White Cloud High School graduating seniors continuing his or her education at an accredited institution
