Two, 4-year renewable awards to graduating seniors from Fremont High School and/or Holton High School:

$250 freshman and sophomore years
$500 junior and senior years if student declares major as agriculture or another STEM field

  • Preference to students pursuing a career in agriculture or another STEM field
  • Preference to students with financial need
  • Non-renewable scholarship awarded to graduating seniors from Fremont High School and Holton High School
  • Preference to students attending Muskegon Community College
  • Preference to students not eligible for Promise Zone scholarship
  • Preference to students who have taken vocational classes in high school and are pursuing a skilled trade or vocational trade
  • Preference to students with financial need
  • Demonstrates hard work, honesty and dependability

One, non-renewable award to a graduating high school senior from Holton High School or Fremont High School.

  • Preference to students pursuing a technical or industrial arts career
  • Student shows an aptitude to succeed while not necessarily being the top student in the class

One award with option of second year renewal, to a graduating senior from a Newaygo County High School or Holton High School.

  • Preference will be given to students entering an agricultural-related or education field of study (e.g. Ecology, Environmental, Science, Conservation, Plant and Animal, or food science program)
  • Participation in 4-H activities (years involved, project, etc.)
