To be awarded to a graduating high school senior from a Newaygo County high school

  • Participation in community and volunteer service
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrated academic achievement ranking among the top 25% of class

To be awarded to a graduating high school senior from Newaygo County and/or the NCRESA Career-Tech Center

  • Participated in graphic arts at NCRESA Career Tech, or
  • Participated in high school art classes, or
  • Are pursuing graphic arts or art studies in college

To be awarded to a graduating senior from a Newaygo County High School or Holton High School

  • Preference will be given to students entering an agricultural-related or education field of study (e.g. ecology, environmental, science, conservation, plant and animal, or food science program)
  • Participation in 4-H activities (years involved, project, etc.)

To be awarded to a Newaygo County student

  • Preference to those pursuing an agricultural or conservation career or work in public administration, particularly in planning and zoning
  • Participation in community and volunteer service, such as 4-H or FFA
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrated financial need

To be awarded to graduates of each Newaygo County public high school

To be awarded to a Newaygo County graduating high school senior

  • Demonstrated academic achievement by maintaining a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

To be awarded to a Newaygo County graduating high school senior pursuing a career in agriculture

  • Seeking a career in agriscience, or a discipline supporting agriculture. For example, an applicant seeking a degree in biology with the intent of working in animal husbandry, or an applicant seeking a business degree with the intent of returning to the area to pursue a career in agriculture management.
  • Graduating Senior from a Newaygo County high school or home school
  • Students must attend an accredited four-year college or university, community college, or technical/trade program
  • Participate in AgriScience Education through their local district or the NC Career –Tech Center
  • Demonstrate leadership, particularly in their FFA chapter
  • Possess a grade point average of 2.5 or higher
  • Demonstrate potential for future success, as evidenced by agriculture related achievements or recognition
