  • Preference for applicants pursuing a career in the medical field
  • Preference to applicants involved in extracurricular activities
  • Preference to applicants with financial need
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA in an accredited certificate program, trade program, college, or university
  • Awarded to a graduating senior from Newaygo and/or Grant Public High School(s)
  • Preference to underrepresented applicants (i.e.: those of ethnic, racial minority, and/or disability)
  • Preference to applicants with a G.P.A of 2.5 or above
  • Preference to applicants with financial need
  • Preference to applicants not eligible for Newaygo County Area Promise Zone funds
  • Preference to applicants with good attendance record and citizenship

Awarded to a Newaygo High School graduating senior pursuing the study of and a career in mental or physical health

One two-year renewable award to a graduating high school senior from Newaygo High School.

  • Demonstrates outstanding academic performance with a GPA of 3.75 or higher
  • Participated in extracurricular activities other than athletics

One non-renewable award of $500 to a Newaygo High School graduate.

  • Demonstrated financial need and lack of alternate resources

One non-renewable award to a graduating high school senior from Newaygo High School.

  • Resident of Newaygo in grades 9-12
  • Preference given to students with middle- to low-income

One, non-renewable award to a deserving graduating high school senior from Newaygo High School.
