To be awarded to a graduating senior, a currently enrolled college student, or a continuing education student who has graduated from a Mecosta County high school and plans to attend Ferris State University

To be awarded to a graduate of Fremont High School or a resident of Newaygo County and a graduate of Western Michigan Christian High School attending Hope College

  • Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement by having a GPA in the range of 3.0 to 3.7
  • Applicants must demonstrate a benefit to the White Cloud area and Newaygo County by being involved in school or community activities such as sports or volunteering
  • The top 5% of the graduating class are ineligible for this scholarship
  • Preference will be given to students attending Michigan State University and those not eligible for other scholarships
  • Financial need is not a criterion for this scholarship.

  • Special consideration will be given to students who attend and are active in a King James Bible believing church including Rothbury Community Church
  • Students to submit a letter from the church pastor/youth pastor stating the extent of your church involvement
  • Students to provide a personal testimony of your walk of faith and relationship with Christ
  • If no applicant fulfills the criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to a past recipient of this scholarship who is currently attending college or trade school
