Please note that participants also need to attend Fund Development Boot Camp: Part 1 on October 4 and Part 3 on November 1.

How can your organization raise more money to support your work and mission? Where do you start and how do you keep it going?

Learn the skills and techniques you need to build a culture of fund development within your organization and create an effective strategy that will help you build a sustainable financial future. The three boot camp sessions will offer a dynamic learning environment and cover topics like:

  • Establishing an organizational culture that prioritizes fund development
  • Engaging staff, volunteers, board members, and donors
  • Developing a fund development strategy that utilizes a mixture of common tactics such as annual fund, special events, major gifts, and planned giving and campaigns

Fund Development Boot Camp will be held in three parts, from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on October 4, October 18, and November 1 at the Dogwood Center for Performing Arts in Fremont. This is a three-part workshop and participants should plan to attend all three sessions.

Reserve your spot online through Eventbrite. If you have already registered for the October 4 session, you are automatically registered for October 18 and November 1.

FREE for nonprofits and public agencies located in, or serving, Newaygo County. This free workshop is provided by the Johnson Center for Philanthropy in cooperation with the Community Foundation’s Community Partner Effectiveness initiative.
