The Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for education mini-grants.

Education mini-grants support classroom programs or projects¬†aligned with the Community Foundation’s Goal 2025 initiative. They are available annually to Newaygo County educators teaching preschool to 12th grade and include public and private schools, special education, music, art, health, physical education, and state-licensed childhood learning centers.

The grants fall into three categories and range from $500 to $5,000. Last year, $125,000 was awarded to a wide variety of creative classroom projects!

Completed and approved applications must be submitted by April 15 to the Community Foundation by your school’s business office. Teachers should check with their school administration office for internal deadlines.

Questions about the education mini-grant application or process can be directed to Amy Moore at 231.924.5350.
