Fremont Area Community Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors. The application opened on January 1 and will close on March 1.

Each year the Community Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to college-bound students and residents pursuing career training. Last year, 670 scholarships were awarded totaling $769,320!

High school students interested in applying must live or attend a high school in Newaygo County. By completing the Community Foundation’s general scholarship application, students will be considered for more than 90 scholarships.

The current open application also applies for the Maynard and Lavina DeKryger Scholarship for students attending medical school.

Scholarships are also available for adult students year-round. Adult students must be residents of Newaygo County and are defined as individuals who have been out of high school for at least two years and/or have a gap in their post-secondary education.

All scholarship applications must be submitted online. Learn more about FACF scholarships or start your application today!
