**Year-end gifts made to participating nonprofit organizations or directly to the Community Foundation must be postmarked by December 31.

This holiday season we invite you to join us in making a heartfelt gift to one of the many nonprofit organizations doing good in Newaygo County. The dollars you give between November 1 and December 31 will provide valuable, immediate resources to meet needs in our community.

The Community Foundation is taking a unique step: for every $1.00 contributed directly to more than 50 participating nonprofits, we will make up to a $0.50 donation into their endowment fund. Endowment funds are permanent. Gifts are invested to provide long-term funding and stability. Earnings from endowment funds are used to support critical programs and operations each year.

The dollars you give your favorite nonprofit can be put to work right away. The matching gift from the Community Foundation will build that organization’s endowment fund to support future work.

Ready to give?

Here are four easy steps:

1. Look for the Newaygo County nonprofit of your choice on the list below.
2. Make your donation directly to them.
3. Those nonprofits on the list are aware of this opportunity to build their endowment fund and will report to us their year-end giving.
4. We’ll deposit the matching funds in their endowment fund (or, as always, you can contribute directly to the endowment funds held at the Community Foundation).
